Academic Staff

Jonathan completed his PhD thesis at the University of Sydney, investigating the use of loanwords in the Hebrew Bible from the perspectives of linguistics and literary theory.

He has published on Esther, the Septuagint and Vetus Latina, and rhetorical and narrative approaches to Biblical texts.

Jonathan currently tutors classes in Biblical Studies at both BBI – The Australian Institute of Theological Education and the University of Sydney.
